The 2010 eduStyle Awards will be announced in person at the eduWeb Conference in Chicago on July 27, 2010 and today I’m asking for your help. In the last year, this site has had 102,000+ visitors from 176 countries and territories around the world, including 4 visitors from the Isle of Man and 1 from Kyrgyzstan. It’s been cool to talk with people around the world here and share insights and viewpoints on web development.

There are lots of interesting sites from lots of different kinds of schools. I was a little surprised there weren’t more nominees from smaller schools like mine – perhaps they just didn’t make the cut.

Just last week, I was writing about our online tour, and on Friday I found out it has made the shortlist in the Best Online Tour and/or Map category. I’m flattered and honored. We’re up against Boston University and Michigan State University, both of whom use Google Maps for their campus map. We’re a bit different since we’re a tour, but that’s okay. All three entries are pretty interesting to play with.
